    As a person who fishes for sport not to kill or eat I can relate to the old mans struggle. I have fought and released big fish. While fighting each of them I think to myself this fish is fighting for it life. I so want to tell the fish I mean you no harm but wish to look in your eye and say thank you. We have both won this day. Hemingway captures his life in Cuba and fishing from the Pillar a fine vessel. His ability to write and explain the struggles of man and his ability to endure. This is in my opinion a great book and this is not the first time I have read it. I know I will read it again Thank you Mr. Hemingway.

    This book was full of action and still had the love of fishing. This book was not boring like some others I read and I could not put it down. Good Job Hemingway.
